Louie Ales Trent, 91, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit. Burial will follow at the Lee’s Summit Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Lee’s Summit Social Services or the Alzheimer’s Association. Louie was born on September 8, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri to Flint H. and Rosa (Shay) Donnington. She was employed at Avon Products for 23 years as an inspector and tour guide. She also worked in the fabric department at Walmart in Lee’s Summit for 25 years. She enjoyed camping, doing ceramics, volunteering, and people. She will be greatly missed by many. Louie was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Trent; parents, Flint & Rosa Donnington; and brother, Robert Donnington. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Trent; son, Kevin Trent; granddaughter, Laura Skaggs; and niece, Sherry Donnington.
