Michael L. Timmer of Holden, son of Laverne and Barbara Timmer, passed away on November 18, 2017 at age 59. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 25th, 2017 at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Lee’s Summit Cemetery.


Michael was born in Puerto Rico on March 9, 1958 and grew up in Tennessee. He worked in the Telecommunication Industry, starting at the age of 18 and traveling all over the United States and internationally. On September 1st, 1990 he married Debra Flowers in Kansas City, MO. They lived in a number of states but spent the last 15 years in rural Holden, MO. Mike loved talking with friends and family, barbequing and cooking, and eating fine foods from all over. He could easily strike up a conversation with anyone and tell stories back and forth for hours.


He was preceded in death by his father, Vern. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; son, Stephen; and daughter, Sarah of Missouri. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Timmer of Minnesota; brothers, Anthony of Colorado, Patrick (Jeanna) of California; Sisters, Lori Kampmeier (Tom), Lisa Robinson (Earl), and Jacque Walsh (John) all of Minnesota.
