I started with LS Water Dept in 1989, Tom had been there for a few years already, I was young and dumb, had no idea what I was doing. Tom and several other guys took me under their wing and helped me succeed. But it was Tom that I identified with the most, I found out he loved to play golf, softball, cards, basketball etc... all the things that I loved. He was an all- around good athlete and sport. Even though we had a 16-year age difference, he felt like an older brother, (much older) to me. We remained friends until he passed. We laughed together, cried together, and I was lucky to have someone like him to call my friend. Arkansas will never be the same without him. Heaven is a much better place now, he can show them what a great person he really was. Your friend, big (Little Fitz).
