Obituary for Richard Gratton "Dick" Irwin

Richard Gratton “Dick” Irwin, age 89 passed away on December 25th 2015. Memorial service will be Monday January 11th 2016 at Langsford Funeral Home at 11am. An interment will take place in St. Louis in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Mr. Irwin was born November 19th, 1926 in St. Louis, MO. Dick was a U.S. Merchant Marine, served his country for the U.S. Navy in WWII, and helped form the Shriner’s Moolah Lodge. Dick was married to Jane Olmsted Irwin. Dick was preceded in death by his parents Sadie Gratton Irwin and Richard Kellen Irwin. Survivors include his wife Jane Irwin, daughter Fran Wendland, son William Irwin, loving in Laws Barbara and Sieg and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
