Jackie (Pointer) Ivens 85 of Lee’s Summit, Missouri died Saturday June 20, 2015 at the Jefferson Health Care Center in Lee’s Summit, Mo. Funeral service will be Wednesday June 24, 2015 at 11am at the Langsford Funeral Home with visitation 1 hr prior to the service. Burial at the Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
Jackie was born September 11, 1929 in Ozark, Arkansas. She enjoyed gardening, music and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by sons Dennis Pointer and Richard Scott Pointer, husband Dick Ivens and ex-husband Keith Pointer.
Survivors are daughter Teressa Ann and son in law Frank Powers, three granddaughters and four –great grandsons.
