Diane Teresa Vospette, 81, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, died on May 20, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born in 1937 and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Lillis High School in 1955. She married Andre L. Vospette and had 3 children: Stephanie, Andre, and Eric. She had an extremely successful 28 year career in real estate in Lee’s Summit, Mo. She enjoyed gardening, her home, her children, her grandchildren, and fly fishing of which she was quite devoted to catching trout. She will surely be missed especially by her husband of 63 years. When she retired in 2007, she was quoted saying she became a real estate agent in 1979 after her three children were in school, “I’ve done it all, a successful marriage and career, my children grew up in the business and I have worked with so many wonderful homeowners.” She is survived by her brother, David W. Johnson, and preceded in death by her parents, Margery and Dr. Gordon E. Johnson.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 7:30 PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. A rosary will begin at 7:30 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee’s Summit. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Raytown, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
