Condolences

Condolence From: Glory Chukwusom
Condolence: I cannot express the pain I felt when I heard of Ms. Marilyn's death. She was not supposed to go like that. I have been taking care of her for about a year and within that one year she became a friend, teacher, counselor and a sister combined. We have cried over our LS R7 students, laughed over their antics and celebrated their successes together. She always joked about the fact that I refused to address her by her first name. She was always Ms. Marilyn to me. I miss her a lot and the Clinic has not being the same since she left us. She had a positive attitude about dialysis and she did everything right. We were looking forward to her getting back on the Transplant list and one day getting another kidney, but God had other plans for her.She loved her children and her students. They were her world. I miss her a lot and I pray that God will comfort the family. Sleep on Ms. Marilyn. I will never forget you.

Glory, RN
Her Dialysis Nurse.

Condolence: I was so sorry to see this message about Marilyn's passing. We lived across the street from Marilyn and her family back in the 70's. She was our little neighbor girl. We so enjoyed them as neighbors. That's when you all lived on Jackson St. and then moved one house away to North 16th. We are thinking of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Hugs. Our Love, Mike and Linda Bowen (John)

Condolence: Marilyn was like a second Mom to one of our daughters Sammi Jo while they were in school. She kept score at every single softball game sitting next to me, rain, heat or snow for 5 plus years! SO sorry to hear of her passing, Blessing to Julia & Jacob in this season of sadness. I will always remember how excited she would get at the games hooping and hollering up out of her seat and the many miles she drove giggling girls to ballgames listening to ACDC no doubt!

Condolence: Marilyn was so easy to love, to talk to and even in her most trying times had grace. I’m so sorry for the loss of a mother, friend, teacher and wonderful person. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Condolence: I had the privilege of meeting Marilyn while she unfortunately had to come to Lee Summit dialysis for treatment. Marilyn always entered the clinic with a smile on her face. A very warm and kind person. Dialysis is a sad situation but Marilyn knew how to make the best of it. She enjoyed talking with staff and other patients. She will dearly be missed by us all at the clinic. May she now rest in peace. Prayers to her family
