Condolence From: Karen (Lyle) Rothermich
Condolence: So very sorry to hear of your loss. The "brothers" were always so much fun! I was closest to Uncle Kenny and Lowell of course, but I always remember how sweet and funny Doyle was. I know he will be remembered fondly for all the joy he spread to those around him. Prayers for comfort for all of you knowing how loved this special man is.

Condolence From: Gayle [Mrs. Burdette] Bond
Condolence: So very sorry to hear of Doyle's passing. Lester's boys were all Burdette's favorite "big cousins" and he'd talk about all the laughter and teasing that went on whenever 'the boys" were around. It's hard to remember Doyle without a smile on his face - usually a big grin! My own earliest memories of Doyle were when he was in high school [I was just a 'little kid' then] but I don't think I ever saw him at school when he wasn't smiling. [Although Burdette has said more than once that he did indeed have the Acklin temper when you managed to get him "riled up", although it took more to do it than most of the other boys.] I'm sure most everyone who knew Doyle will remember him smiling [often with a slightly ornery grin] and what a delight he was to be around. You are all in my thoughts and prayers -may your memories of Doyle give you comfort, and the love you share with him bring you peace. Big Hugs & Blessings to you all - Gayle
