Phillip Wayne  Fockler
Phillip Wayne Fockler, son of Elmer and Doveta Fockler, was born August 24, 1939 in Knob Noster, MO and departed this life on September 30, 2017 at the age of 78. Visitation will be 10:00am with service at 11:00am Thursday October 5,2017 at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, MO. Burial in Knob Noster Cemetery.
He married Sandra Mitchell in 1963, and they spent the major part of their married life in Lee’s Summit, MO. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lee’s Summit, MO. He graduated from Windsor High School in 1957 and was employed by Great Lakes Pipeline Co. He then spent 37 ½ years employed by the U. S. Government working for the Federal Aviation Agency and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Kansas City District) from which he retired in 1997 as a Civil Engineering Technician in the Operation Maintenance Division. He enjoyed spending time at the farm and our home at Lake of the Ozarks. He was a member of Independence Masonic Lodge #76.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Faeon Hall. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, son and daughter in law, Lance and Julie Fockler, Lee’s Summit, MO, and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, or the American Lung Association.
