Condolence From: Julia McDowell
Condolence: To the Olson family, I've just now learned of Tim's passing. He was one of my most favorite students. I loved him dearly and always looked forward to our time together. I would have attended his service if I'd known sooner. My heart is breaking. Prayers for all of you.

Condolence: I am truly devastated to hear of Tim's passing. He was such a dear friend to me for nearly a decade. I loved him more than I can begin to explain. He had such a kind soul and was one of the most intelligent and passionate people I have ever known. His warmth and generosity was unmatched. His humor was ridiculous and amazing. I am going to miss our chats where we caught up and talked for hours about everything: life, work, love, hopes, and dreams.
Tim, you were always there for me whenever I needed to talk. I won't forget the date we set for Jan. 10, 2019. I'll never forget you.
I wish I had more to say. He meant so much to me and I'm sure many others. My sincerest condolences to the family and friends.

Condolence: I am truly saddened by the passing of Tim. Tim participated in MWA whitewater canoe clinics on the St Francis every year for at least the last 5 yr that I recall. Each time, Tim brought his enthusiasm for WW paddling & Adam of course! Tim's lack of fear, but healthy respect for the river is something i recall. He would analyze and run Cat's Paw at levels I would portage. Over the last several years, Tim really came into his element in WW canoeing. He was on his 'A' game on the river, playing and watchful of others. He made us canoe instructors proud and happy for his new found love of paddling. Although Dale was his main instructor, others of us like to feel we played a part and shared in his success. I and the paddling community will sorely miss Tim, his bright blue eyes, infectious smile and dry witt.
SYOTR Tim!

We still have fond memories of the early days in Lee's Summit with your young family, even though the years have separated us. In loving memory of the little Tim that we remember, your family will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with Tim's family and friends. My husband and I first came to know him nearly a decade ago when we first moved to KC. My husband worked with him and they shared interests in gaming, canoeing and rock climbing. My husband probably talked more with him on a daily basis than with me -- but, I'm glad they were good friends. I'll miss his laugh when something was truly funny. And I'll miss how he made our difficult dog his buddy every time he came over to visit. The world truly lost a wonderful soul.
