Obituary for Murad Zaki Ousta

Murad Zaki  Ousta
Murad Zaki Ousta, age 88, died at CenterPoint Medical Center in Independence, MO on July 26th,
2017. Born January 3rd, 1929 in Jerusalem Palestine, Murad left his family consisting of his parents and
11 siblings, immigrating to the United States in 1954. He became a US Citizen on February 20th,
1964. Murad attended Columbia College and graduated August 9th1978, earning a B.A. in Microbiology.
He served in the Armed Services for six years until Honorably Discharged November 16th, 1964,
attaining the rank of Staff Sargent (E-6) as a Laboratory Technician. On August 20th, 1958 he
married our mother, Charlotte Sue Howard. Murad lived in many locations in the United States and worked at the Veterans Administration Hospitals as a Laboratory Technician, Supervisor, Manager for most of his working life. He also worked at Research Hospital and St. Luke's here in Kansas City. Survivors include daughters, Patricia Nichols of Las Vegas Nevada and Teresa Keleher of Kansas City, Kansas along with a son, Phillip Ousta of Kansas City, Kansas. Grandchildren include Christopher Ousta, of Sibley MO and Anthony Ousta, of Grain Valley MO along with many other siblings, nieces and nephews worldwide. Services will be held on August 3rd, 2017 at Langsford Funeral Home,115 SW 3rd St, Lee's Summit, MO 64063. Relatives and friends are welcome to join in the viewing starting at 9:30am followed by the service at 10:30am. A private burial will be held at Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery.
