Craig T. VanMeter, 52, passed June 28, 2017. Visitation will be 12-1pm and service at 1pm at Langsford Funeral Home, Saturday July 8. Craig was born July 24, 1964 in KCMO. He was an employee at Polytainers for many years. He grew up in Raytown, MO but spent most of his life in Lee’s Summit, MO. His hobbies included racing dirt cars and riding motorcycles. He was a loving son, father, and was an amazing friend to anyone and everyone. He is preceded in death by his friend, Valerie Kelso. Survivors include his parents, Betty and Walter VanMeter; daughter, Christie (Jared Hinkle) VanMeter; step-sons, Marc (Hannah) Kelso, Brad (Audrey Killion) Kelso; grandchildren, Scarlett and Henry Kelso, Bailey Westbrook, and Kylie Killion; Significant other, Amy Fellers; and many family and friends including Greg Jones and Craig’s loving aunts Virginia Hart, Sue Phillips, Patty Hinkle, Zita Shoemaker; uncle James Powell; and many other loving aunts.
