Wayne Zimmerman, born August 29, 1953 in Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away on March 13, 2016. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Marie Zimmerman and his brother, Greg Zimmerman. He leaves behind his wife, Kathy Zimmerman, and daughters Suzannah Froneberger (Donald), Lori Zimmerman (Chap Huskison), and Tracy Zimmerman. Survivors also include nephews Mitchell Branham, Tom Branham,and Joey Zimmerman, grandchildren Charlotte Froneberger, Tracy Ginnett, Tristan Ginnett and Skyler Ginnett, and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 10th at Abundant Life Church, 414 SW Persels Road, Lee’s Summit, MO. The memorial service will immediately follow visitation. In addition, there will be a memorial gathering for Wayne in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Sunday, April 17th at 11:00 a.m. It will be held on the University of Arkansas campus in the Gardens Pavilion. The Gardens Pavilion is located on the corner of Razorback Road and Leroy Pond Drive. Lunch will be provided. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to a charity of your choice. Wayne will be remembered for his unending fight for justice, his intelligent wit, and his many culinary adventures.
