Condolence From: Bill McNutt
Condolence: I worked for Bobby every summer from 1967 to 1975 at William Jewell as a ballboy for the Chiefs. Bobby loved his family and spoke often about his boys who he loved above everybody else. He was a special cornerstone of the Chiefs success and he could manage Hank Stram. Once, Hank wanted to get somebody else to chart plays with him in his Crows Nest, but Bobby backed me up and I kept the best job in camp! Thanks Bobby. You are loved and will be missed by all associated with the Texans/ Chiefs ...

Condolence: I had the privilege of working with Bobby for ten years, my company providing the laundry and dry cleaning services to the Chiefs. Bobby was the greatest. He was fair, respectful and gave the Chiefs 110% of his effort and attention. He spoke lovingly of his family and extended many kindnesses to my wife and me and our young daughters. He and Wayne Rudy were fantastic role models for younger people such as myself. I can't say enough good things about him. I know he will be missed by his family and all his friends. A life well-lived.

Condolence: I have waited on Bobby for years at Price Chopper. I was sad to see his obit in the paper but not too surprised. I saw him not too many weeks ago and it seemed like he didn't feel very well. He was a really nice customer, and I'll miss him. I liked seeing the picture of him when he was young. My sympathies to the family.

Condolence: As I read the paper this morning and saw the obituary and saw the passing of Bobby I was surprised and saddened for his family. I took care of Bobby at St Lukes Hospital and I really appreciated getting to know him and his lovely family. I rarely see the love expressed by young men to their fathers as I did with him and his sons.I admired what a great father he has been, seeing the love for family that he had.And what he had taught to his sons. 2 wonderful young men. If there were more men in this world like Bobby, Tim and Kelly it would be a better place. I enjoyed getting to know such fine young men and their families. I was honored to take care of such a fine man as Bobby and wished I had known him in his time of health. He appreciated the small things I did for him and always said thank you. I was there through the laughter and the tears for 2 days with them. And I had a hard time leaving when my shift ended because I felt lead to stay and take care of him.I wish you and your lovely families the best. I will hold you all up in prayer through this tough time. I know your heads are just spinning this all happened so fast. Please know my prayers are with you in your hour of sorrow. I feel honored to have had a small part of the care-taking for Bobby.I wish you all the best. I wont be able to make the funeral as I will be out of town. But the things I will remember from this experience is the following memories I'm sure will make you smile. Bobby said with a huge smile..When Dan came to visit..Is that Dr Dan??? Oh I love you Dr Dan!!! And when I made him fresh tea he was so happy...He was giggling with joy and saying THAT'S GOOD!!! And him teasing his boys then looking at me to see if I was listening and smiling. Such a sweet spirit I also will miss you Bobby even though we just met. Best Wishes, Edie West

Condolence: To family: My sincere condolences. There is no greater pain than the death of a loved one. Sometimes it seems almost more than a person can bear. Jehovah God helps us with this in His word. He promises us that He will put a stop to all sickness and death will be no more (REV 21;3.4) Jehovah also shows His love for us through the ransom sacrifice of His beloved son Jesus Christ. What a wonderful gift to be given ! Then the hope of seeing one's loved ones again on this earth transformed in a paradise as it was Jehovah's will when He created Adam & Eve . (Genesis 1:26,27; John 5: 28,29; Psalms 37:11,22,29). If you have any questions or comments, please contact me at: ricruiz@aol.com
Sincerely.
